Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Massachusetts. He is a cum laude Bachelor of Science graduate of Old Dominion University, where he earned an Award for Academic Excellence in Sports Medicine, followed by his MBA in Health Care Management from the University of Connecticut. He earned his JD, cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law, with a Health Law Concentration and an Award for Excellence in Clinical Work, and his Master of Laws in Trial Advocacy from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law.

 

Mr. Cohen has handled a myriad of health care matters including handling appeals related to reimbursement for nursing facilities, health care business-related contract review, health care compliance, health law regulatory and statutory review and interpretation, as well as assisting to provide general counsel services to smaller and start-up health care businesses.  Mr. Cohen has tried both civil and criminal cases, and obtained favorable verdicts, in state-level as well as federal courts.  Mr. Cohen has also handled numerous appeals as well as parole and medical parole matters.  Mr. Cohen has been affiliated with, and has worked with, Bradford, Gerardi & Associates (under its prior and current names) as an Independent Associate since early 2011.
