Darlene Gerardi applies her knowledge and experience as an attorney and clinician for clients of Bradford, Gerardi & Associates.  A Connecticut native, she earned her Diploma in Nursing from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, followed by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Hartford and membership in Sigma Theta Tau.  Her nursing career spanned many specialties, including pediatrics, post-anesthesia care, home care, school nursing, and over 10 years in adult critical care medicine.   She attended Western New England College School of Law, graduating in 1992, and a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Health Law Section, and is licensed in Connecticut.

Our firm’s health industry clients benefit from Darlene's clinical and legal experience on a variety of federal and state regulatory and compliance matters.  Her practice focuses on issues related to scope of practice for health care professionals, behavioral health, clinical laboratories, telehealth, HIPAA privacy and security, home care, and state license filings and compliance for health care entities.  

 

When not counseling our clients, Darlene enjoys volunteering with various organizations, gardening, and spending time with her family.
